We can’t work out if this young chap is pretty amazing or whether we’re a little freaked by it…
Stu Haycock @ Breakfast, Weekdays 6.30 – 10.00am on 107.3 Stafford FM
Breakfast presenter, Stu Haycock is about to embark on one hell of a shows!
“Locked In” will begin on Tuesday 29th December and will see Stu stuck in the 107.3 Stafford FM presenting, until he’s raised £3,000 towards our regulatory requirements.
As a not for profit community radio station, we are required to raise 50% towards the running of the station through funding and donations, whilst meeting our key commitments
with Ofcom, as per the license.
Stu will present the breakfast show as normal but then stay on air co hosting with the regular presenters until we have reached the target. We really hope you can get behind us and give what you can. There will be on air auctions, challenges and lots of fun, featuring the whole Stafford FM team.
There will also be a number of stipulations, so we’re thinking that this will be a tall ask for Stu! However, we’re pretty sure that with your support and help, we will get the £3K needed to release him from the studio!
Keep listening to hear MORE about “Locked In”, and if you’re able to assist us in anyway, we’d love to hear from you!

OK, so I foolishly never took the children. There’s no doubt in my mind that I should have done. That was an epic fail on my part.
This year’s Rock’n’Roll panto ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at the Gatehouse has everything – and so much more!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I was wondering whether they’d be able to out do last year’s dazzling performance. But, they’ve pulled out all the stops with this year’s.
The show is seemless and has you shouting, laughing and singing. Every panto HAS to have a dame, and TJ Holmes who plays Dame Dotty is brilliant. Some of the jokes are clearly skewed towards an older audience, but that said, the kids got it. It really was wonderful to see so many happy smiling faces, and in particular, the children getting really into it.
One of the highlights for me was the panto cow – Betsy. The choreography to music was wonderful and so impressive! All in all, this is a wonderful and quite magical experience. I would go and see it in a heartbeat. In Fact, it’s a must for the children! Oh yes it is!
More on Breakfast this coming Monday, 6.30 – 10.00am.
