Members of RMT Union are undertaking industrial action today and tomorrow (Christmas Eve)

The strike which is taking place today has resulted in a significantly reduced service being able to operate. Longer trains will be used where possible.

Stafford will be experiencing a reduced service as a result of this, with trains expected once an hour from train operator Cross Country and also expected to finish earlier than usual.

This is expected to cause crowded and delayed services in the area as people head home for the festive season
