On Stafford FM’s mid-morning show on Wednesday 29 March, I’m delighted to be joined in the studio by former Stafford Rangers Manager Phil Robinson (now the International Youth Scouting and Recruitment Manager at Manchester City FC) and former chairman, now club President, Jon Downing. We’ll be looking back at ‘the Robbo’ years 2002–2007 when the club finished Southern Premier runners up, as well as winning the Staffordshire Senior Cup and making it to the 1st Round of the FA Cup (for the first time in a decade).
The following season, Rangers finished 3rd and qualified for the newly formed Conference North.
After topping the table for much of the 2005/06 season, Rangers eventually finished runners up, but won promotion back to the non-league top flight thanks to a Play Off victory over Droylsden.
If you have a question I can put to either Phil or Jon for you, please email to [email protected] by March 28th.  I hope you can tune in!
