Katharine House Hospice are encouraging Stafford Half Marathon runners to join the hospice team which has already had 10 local supporters come forward to be part of #TeamKHH.
2016 saw 50 local runners come together to run Stafford Half Marathon for the hospice and together they raised a fantastic £14,000. This money has gone a long way towards paying for free hospice care.
Katharine House Hospice are encouraging local supporters who have already obtained a place in the 2017 Stafford Half Marathon and wish to raise funds for the hospice to contact the Fundraising Team on 01785 270808 or email [email protected].
Events fundraiser Lisa Carson said “We always encourage supporters to run for the hospice at this fantastic event and in 2017 I hope to get a team of around 80 local people together. I know that the race is already sold out, which is brilliant for the County. We are offering fundraising support, #TeamKHH running tops and we will have a Katharine House marquee in Market Square on the day of the race for our team to meet up in before and after the race. 2016 was a record year for #TeamKHH but I’m certain we can smash that record again in 2017 and raise even more money. Let’s help keep the hospice running by putting on our running shoes for the Stafford Half Marathon.”
If you would like to join #TeamKHH and run in support of your local hospice please contact Lisa Carson in the fundraising team on 01785 270808 or email [email protected]
