Argazki Mac is a name you may of heard of listening to Stafford FM, or you may have seen him on facebook. But if you haven’t, Argazki Mac is really Neal McIntosh, a local amateur photographer from Stafford. Neal admits he isn’t a high tech sort of bloke, as he uses a second hand camera, has no technical expertise and only started taking pictures 2 years ago. However, Neal has produced some truly breathtaking work of wildlife photography and he’s pleased to have the opportunity to display his local images for the very first time. All of Argazki Mac’s photographs were taken here in Stafford, or close by in Staffordshire.
You can see the exhibition, Argazki Mac – ‘Natural Staffordshire’, from 11:00 to 16;00, 23 October 2017 to 15 December 2017 at The Museum Of Cannock Chase, Valley Rd, Hednesford, Cannock WS12 1TD. There’s more info here, Natural Staffordshire
BTW, the name ‘Argazki Mac’ came about from the Basque word for a photo or photograph and Mac because he’s a McIntosh. Neal spent a few years away from Stafford living in the Basque country in Spain, but he just couldn’t stay away and came back in 2012!
Above and below are some of the pictures taken for Stafford FM over the last 12 months, thanks Neal! Find him on facebook here, Argazki Mac. I hope you get chance to see the exhibition…..
